CAMERA & STEADICAM OPERATOR
From a young age Glenn Clayton had dreams of one day becoming half man / half machine. When doctors told him that the surgery would be "impossible" he searched for a way to make his dream a reality. He soon discovered steadicam, a craft that mixed creative thinking with an intense physical discipline. Glenn also works as camera operator who selects frames based on artistic and emotional impression rather than systematic coverage from a camera position. Since he began as an operator he has successfully established his own cinematic style and continues to offer consistent results. In 2011 he attended a workshop hosted by the steadicam inventor Garrett Brown and veteran operator Jerry Holway in Sydney, Australia. While there he continued to advance his skills as an operator and further improve his understanding of the important connection between the camera and the audience.
